The Professional Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is partnering with a well-established Manufacturer in Sandusky! They are looking for a 3rd shift (9pm - 5am) Sanitation Supervisor with pay up to $80,000 & comprehensive benefits. Come join this evolving organization!

As a Sanitation Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of the sanitation department and work alongside your team. Your role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment. This position involves managing the Master Sanitation Schedule, coordinating cleaning routines, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Sanitation Supervisor Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and train the sanitation team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and compliance.
• Oversee the Master Sanitation Schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Perform routine sanitation inspections, maintain accurate documentation, and validate cleaning effectiveness.
• Assist with developing and updating sanitation procedures and ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with the QA Manager and Food Safety Director to address sanitation issues and ensure a safe production environment.
  
  

Requirements :

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is required.
• Detailed understanding of food industry practices and allergen management (including the Big 9 allergens).
• Strong leadership skills and experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in both high and low temperatures and wet conditions.
