We are looking to hire a reliable, hard-working, detail-oriented Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team. Applicant must be professional, pleasant and have excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities will include:
•Providing our patients with excellent service!
•Checking patients in and out
•Answering multi-line telephone and directing calls
•Chart preparation
•Data-entry; obtaining and entering patient information
•Scheduling
•Managing patient upcoming appointments
•Patient payment collection and processing
•Assisting patients regarding billing questions and payment options
•Cross-training as needed to assist in other areas
Necessary skills/experience:
•High School diploma or GED
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Outstanding customer relations and customer service
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent telephone etiquette
•Attention to detail and accuracy in task completion
•Possess a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and build strong working relationships with patients as well as coworkers
•Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing workload and circumstances effectively; able to
respond to new information quickly
•Ability to complete multiple tasks timely and accurately
•Although not required, medical office work related experience and/or knowledge of medical terminology and
insurance billing would be beneficial.
