Responsibilities:
- Serve as a compassionate and informative point of contact for patients scheduled for surgical procedures.
- Provide detailed pre-operative instructions and address patient queries and concerns.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of the surgical process, including scheduling pre-operative tests, appointments, and post-operative follow-ups.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize surgical workflow.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in completing necessary paperwork and documentation related to surgical procedures.
- Offer comprehensive information to patients about their surgical procedures, potential risks, and post-operative care instructions.
- Ensure patients are well-prepared and informed for a positive surgical experience.
- Advocate for patients' needs with the medical team, ensuring a patient-centric approach.
- Foster positive relationships between patients and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or surgical coordination role is preferred.
