What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Business Partner position at Spirax Sarco?
Spirax Sarco is looking to identify an experienced finance professional to join the Spirax Sarco's USA Manufacturing team as a Finance Business Partner. This role will be tasked to lead and develop the finance function of the South Carolina supply site. Ensure development of a strong governance mind-set while partnering with the leadership team improve business decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Supply General Manager to provide financial acumen and insight into organizational performance
- Champion governance and ensure that the control framework is robust and continuously maintained
- Actively manage working capital within the control of the supply organization particularly focus on stock and fixed assets
- Undertake variance and performance analysis and assist with budgeting & forecasting
- Develop financial awareness within the manufacturing unit with focus on Gross contribution performance and overall trading margin
- Support investment decision making with clear financial calculations and cost benefit analysis
- Coordination of statutory audit with our chosen auditors
- Review and develop processes, procedures & controls - get to the heart of our manufacturing business and be passionate about how we can be better!
The ideal candidate should have an Accounting degree, with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in areas of general accounting and financial statement preparation. Experience working as a finance lead in a large multi-national organization (Governance/control framework, corporate reporting requirements and working capital management) is highly advantageous. Manufacturing experience required.
