What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Spirit EMS?
Duties include: receiving emergency and non-emergency calls from residences, facilities, and hospitals for patient transport, proper call intake questions are answered while ensure confidentiality for patient information, management of units to ensure timely response and utilization. A logistical and quality assurance background is encouraged, but not required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate logistics operations
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management
- Experience in dispatching and coordinating freight shipments efficiently
- Knowledge of supply chain management and transportation planning principles
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality assurance standards
