Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Body Shop Parts specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate parts list for repairs, assisting management with general office tasks, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and understanding of automotive components.
Proficiency with CCC one software would be a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate repair Estimates and determine what parts need To be ordered.
- Keep personal space and parts area clean and organized.
- Daily use of collision repair software.
- Assist with general office tasks outside of job title . ( Assist with phone and customer service as needed )
- Communicate effectively with parts vendors .
- Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair compensation for repairs.
- Manage parts returns and keep records regarding credits and refunds.
- Maintain organized records of invoices.
- Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies needed for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure all parts needed are acquired in a timely fashion .
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships.
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques to effectively ensure profitability
- Knowledge of inventory management practices within an automotive context.
- Familiarity with retail sales processes and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of retail math to assist in estimating costs accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
