Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Consultant is responsible for designing and implementing learning initiatives that align with Sport Clips’ objectives. This role partners closely with the Operations Standards and Artistic teams to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and tailored to the intended audience. The Consultant is part of a collaborative L&D team that supports growth and excellence across the Sport Clips system.

Scope of the Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Consultant is responsible for designing and implementing learning initiatives that align with Sport Clips’ objectives. This role partners closely with the Operations Standards and Artistic teams to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and tailored to the intended audience. The Consultant is part of a collaborative L&D team that supports growth and excellence across the Sport Clips system.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a strong record of impact.
- 3–5 years of instructional design experience using tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and screen capture applications.
- Experience working in a franchise environment, particularly in customer-centric organizations (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Must be a strong cultural fit and an enthusiastic ambassador for the Sport Clips brand.
- Able to work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods.
- Self-starter with strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
