Physical Therapy Aide/Rehabilitation Technician

We are currently seeking a part-time Rehab Tech to join our exceptional team. The ideal candidate will combine an engaging personality with an ability to maintain organization in a busy environment. This customer-oriented individual will also be able to meet the following job description and possess the following skills requirements. An extensive training program will ensure proficiency prior to independent work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares treatment area for patient as directed by the physical therapists.
- Maintains patient confidence and privacy by following HIPPA protocols.
- Maintains physical therapy supply inventory as directed by supervisor.
- Maintains facility cleanliness in all areas of the clinic.
- Completes daily laundry needs of facility.
- Follow direction of the physical therapist on duty.
- Other office duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Create and maintain a safe effective environment
- Excellent Verbal Communication skills
- Ability to effectively listen and process information
- Exhibit a positive attitude towards others
- Patient Service experience
- Ability to contribute independent thoughts and ideas
- Multi-tasking
- Degree or associated experience in Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Physical or Occupational Therapy, or experience working in these environments preferred
- Knowledge of basic exercises and exercise equipment
- Available to work evenings.
