What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI TECH position at SportsMED Orthopaedic Specialists?
SportsMED Orthopaedic Specialists is currently seeking a full time MRI Technologist to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will:
- Screen patients before the MRI examination for any precautions or contraindications
- prepare patients for the exam and explain the exam procedure
- Ensure scan(s) meet the minimum requirements for accuracy and readability to help physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient injuries or illnesses.
- Maintain accurate records in our medical software system
This position will be scheduled for Monday thru Friday from 12p-10p. Additional hours may be available during weekdays from time to time to ensure adequate coverage for vacations or sick time.
Candidate must be a graduate of a Certified Radiology Program and be MRI registry eligible.
