HR Payroll Processor

Description

Qualifications: 1-2 years experience in a related field, proficient computer skills, working knowledge of general office machines, excellent grammar and punctuation skills, excellent customer service skills, must demonstrate independent initiative, well organized individual, flexibility with schedule, team player, honest, dependable, trust-worthy, and excellent communication skills

As a Payroll and HR specialist in a Grace Management Services facility you must be able to perform the following essential functions as demonstrated by the ability to:

Essential Job Functions:
Process and audit facility payroll as assigned by the Payroll Manager
Reconcile employee punches and adjust employee deductions as needed
Communicate with facilities to ensure correct processing for payroll
Monitor overtime hours for the facility as needed
Answer employee payroll questions
Maintain customer service
Keep track of employee events such as annual TB tests, evaluations, CPR cards, etc. and inform the proper personnel
when these are due
Upload new hire employee information into the payroll console
Make payroll corrections as necessary
Ensure changes are made to properly transfer employees between facilities or departments as needed
Process employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions
Process employment verifications for assigned locations in a timely manner
Monitor and audit onboarding information to ensure it’s in line with company compliance and policies
Utilize automated time keeping system to process facility payroll
Ensure all employee documentation is up-to-date and accurate
Maintain employee information such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations and make sure proper documentation is
received from facility for employee file
Communicate and work cooperatively with other departments
Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis to administration as required and directed
Required to work during payroll processing, PTO must be scheduled around payroll processing
Accumulate and maintain accurate statistics as required and directed
Adhere to company policies and directives from company representatives
Attend in-services, seminars and training programs as directed by the Payroll Manager/Administrator
Ensure all state and federal guidelines are met

Responsible for employee files to be complete and accurate
Recruit and coordinate interviews for all open positions
Conduct phone, in-person, and group interviews
Run any required license or certification verifications prior to interviewing candidates
Be well versed and knowledgeable in all position specific polices & procedures
Be well versed and knowledgeable in Workers Compensation and FMLA process
Schedule new hires for all required pre-employment screenings
Schedule interviews for hiring managers as needed
Perform other related duties as directed by the Administrator/Payroll Manager
