Spring Vale Christian School is hiring a 6th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position should have classroom experience, organizational skills and aptitude for managing a classroom. More importantly the teacher should have a love for God and serve Him wholeheartedly, love for children, and love for learning. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the teacher include but are not limited to:
- Using innovative and varied methods in teaching and discipline
- Teaching Classical Christian Education curriculum
- Creating an orderly learning environment by maintaining a clean classroom
- Plan lessons and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and caters to the diverse needs of students.
- Attending weekly staff meeting and participating in Grammar School events
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Excellent communication skills
