Springside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and their sister facility is currently seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian. Springside is located in the heart of the Berkshires in Pittsfield, MA. This is a split postion, with half the time at Springside and half the time at our sister facility in Dalton, MA (8 miles away).

Job Duties for Dietitian:
- Work cooperatively with physicians and our clinical team to provide the highest level of nutritional care to our residents and sub-acute patients.
- Provide ongoing nutritional education to our residents, family, staff and participate in community outreach education programs.
- Conduct daily customer satisfaction rounds to ensure preferences and diets are adhered to.
- Work cooperatively with the Food Service Director to ensure day-to-day operations are conducted in a manner that is compliant with state, federal, and local regulations and guidelines.
- Conducts initial, quarterly, and annual assessments
- Follows and monitor residents nutritional status. Document resident status in E.H.R.
Requirements for Dietitian:
- 2 years of geriatric nutrition and/or skilled nursing/long-term care experience, preferred
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in state of Massachusetts, required
- Current SERVSafe Certificate
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC), preferred
