What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician position at SpringVale Health Centers, Inc.?
SpringVale Health Centers, Inc., a local non-profit provider of behavioral health, substance abuse, primary/dental care, and pharmacy services has openings for a 30 or 36-hour WEEKEND Crisis Stabilization Unit Technician in a 5-bed voluntary stabilization unit. As a CSU Tech, you will assist in daily activities, provide direct care to meet individual treatment goals, and provide Crisis Intervention services. This is a 30 or 36-hour FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY Day Shift position, working 10 or 12-hour shifts.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about helping others while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude as well as possess the desire to make a difference within the agency and local community. Must have effective communication skills in both person and on the telephone to meet the needs of the crisis intervention process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor or Associate Degree in mental health-related field preferred (or working towards degree); or Medical Assistant Certification plus 1 year mental health experience; or high school diploma with 2 years relevant mental health experience.
