Senior Copywriter

Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for a creative, strategic and collaborative Senior Copywriter to help drive our brand voice and storytelling. This role is ideal for an experienced copywriter who thrives on developing breakthrough marketing campaigns, collaborating with teams and driving innovation in messaging. • Writing & Storytelling: Push beyond the expected to create copy that engages, informs and delights across placements including, but not limited to, website landing pages, articles, CRM including email, push and SMS, social media, paid digital media, radio, video scripting, in-store signage, weekly and monthly advertising and print publications.
• Upholding Brand Voice: Ensure quality in written materials, reviewing for both grammatical accuracy and adherence to brand voice, tone and editorial standards across channels.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers and cross-functional marketing partners to bring ideas to life, craft solutions and identify opportunities to enhance Sprouts’ brand storytelling. You’ll be a key player in brainstorming, problem-solving and shaping how our brand connects with customers.
• Creative Concepting: Assist in the development of campaign ideas that resonate, disrupt and inspire. You won’t just write—you’ll help craft experiences that make an impact across multiple channels, from digital and social to in-store and print.
• Organization & Time Management: Manage shifting priorities and timelines to meet business needs, including documenting and implementing feedback. Take direction from briefs and meetings to translate business goals into effective and innovative copywriting solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, creative writing, advertising, journalism or a related field.
• 4–6 years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong background in marketing, advertising and driving customer engagement through compelling copy.
• A strong portfolio showcasing copywriting and creative concepts across multiple channels.
• Retail and/or agency experience preferred.
• Food industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in concept development: not only executing ideas, but also shaping them from the ground up.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills: you can translate big ideas into actionable strategies.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness: you’re always seeking new ideas and innovative solutions to challenges.
• Adaptability to change and a fast-paced environment: you thrive under tight deadlines, embrace pivots and remain focused and effective in a dynamic setting.
• A growth mindset: you’re eager to push creative boundaries and explore new ways to connect with customers.
