Position Summary:
We’re looking for a collaborative and empathetic UX Design intern who is a creative problem solver. As a UX Design intern, you'll work with the UX team, product managers, and engineers to create work that has a direct impact on the company's success. You will be paired with an experienced mentor who wants to help you develop your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will participate in all stages of the product development process from conception through release, including:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define problems and goals, map user flows, and brainstorm solutions
- Creating wireframes, hi-fis, and prototypes that meet product requirements, customer wants, and technical feasibility
- Contributing to SupplyPike’s design language and system
- Iterating on product usability through UX research, usability testing, and user feedback
Location:
This is a hybrid role based in Rogers, Arkansas, the in-office expectation is 2-3 days per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree
- Strong understanding of typography, iconography, and user flows
- Strong familiar with prototyping tools such as Figma Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to learn
- Can work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Basic understanding of design systems, HTML/CSS, and UI frameworks a plus
- Availability to work at least 30 hours on average per week during the summer, and at least 15 hours per week during the school year
