Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Assist guests with their drink selections, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Handle POS system operations, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Monitor and replenish bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and supplies.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere, enhancing their overall dining experience.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in an exciting dining environment.
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers effectively.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and classic drink recipes.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.23 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
