Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using POS systems and basic math skills
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures
- Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and monitoring product freshness to ensure quality
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail environments in the food industry is advantageous
