SRI's Princeton office is seeking a Central Utilities Plant Operator to join the Facilities team. The position is on a rotating shift that operates the Central Utilities Plant 24 X 7.
Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of the Central Utilities Plant that includes steam boilers, refrigeration plant chillers, water production wells, compressors and a wastewater treatment plant.
- Must operate the plant in compliance with NJ regulation and operating permits and have experience troubleshooting plant equipment, general maintenance and repairs to industrial steam and cooling systems.
- Performs water quality checks to ensure proper chemical treatment of steam boilers and condensate systems, chilled water and wastewater treatment plant.
- Works closely with other plant operators and mechanics to ensure all plant equipment is operating at maximum efficiency and has minimal downtime.
- Must have a NJ Black Seal Boiler License
- Minimum (4) years apprentice training or equivalent and completed vocational or trade school
- Must be a US Citizen
- Computer skills that include Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Salary : $27 - $40
