We are seeking a Underground Mining Engineer.
Description Of Responsibilities
- Technical and project management support for engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility)
- Technical deliverables, budgeting and scheduling
- Provide operational advice to, and interface regularly, with clients
- Perform due diligence and independent reporting projects
- Actively engage in business development
- Actively engage in development and/or advancement of SRK`s engineering practices
- Other duties as assigned
- A bachelor`s degree in mining engineering or related field
- Minimum of eight (8) years` post-graduate industry experience in underground mining, mine planning, and preferably with a diverse range of commodities
- Proficiency with computerized mine planning and optimization tools, e.g. Deswik, Datamine, MineSight, Vulcan
- Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills
- Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists
- The ability to work in a dynamic, flexible workplace
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
