Job Summary:

Supports SSM Health’s Mission through transformational workforce initiatives that drive operational excellence, margin improvement, and ensure overall workforce value through transformation, collaboration, and accountability. Prepares for and facilities enterprise position control process. Prepares reports on labor benchmarks and performance, and other operational excellence standards. As needed, supports other Business Transformation Office (BTO) team members with workforce transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and supports the position management and control process, including the facilitation of position control meetings.
• Prepares position control files for system wide utilization.
• Facilitates position control meetings at ministry and/or region levels.
• Acts as support to BTO team members with workforce transformation initiatives.
• Prepare Voice of Stakeholder (VoS) surveys deployed internally throughout organization.
• Coordinates logistics of internal team deployment to high priority and/or critical areas.
• Coordinates materials and logistics for workforce education initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Nursing, or a related field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
