Job Responsibilities
· The Administrator maintains ultimate responsibility for center operations and is expected to be available during off hours and on weekends as necessary
· Create a culture within the center that actively supports the CCNH mission
· Ensure that ethical business practices are followed at all times
· Monitor Standards of Care and Quality Indicators and incorporate results into the QAPI process
· In conjunction with the Medical Director, ensure that all licensed independent practitioners are credentialed and operate within CCNH, Federal and State policies and regulations
· Delegate administrative authority, responsibility and accountability to other employees as deemed necessary to perform their assigned duties
· Ensure that resident rights are integrated into all aspects of resident care
· Implement and monitor recruitment, selection and hiring process to ensure effective staffing of all budgeted positions
· Lead monthly recruitment and retention committee and implement effective programs to retain employees
· Ensure that center operates in compliance with State and Federal employment laws, including but not limited to EEO, Child Labor, INS Regulations and Federal Wage and Hour
· Oversee coaching, counseling and disciplinary process in compliance with established CCNH standards
· Monitor census mix and Medicare/Medicaid acuity mix to meet or exceed budgeted guidelines
Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in health care administration, business administration or related field
· Licensed NHA by the state of New Hampshire or eligible for reciprocity
· Two years of experience working as a Nursing Home Administrator or two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare facility.
· Knowledge in the use of computers and various software packages (Intermediate Excel and Word skills)
