What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operating Room Nurse position at St Anthony Hospital?
This role supports the OR and GI procedural areas providing nursing support for our procedures. On-call rotation is required. Surgery performs elective procedures Monday - Friday and only on-call coverage on weekends and holidays. Prior procedural area experience preferred.

Provides and coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
Related Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Associates in Nursing; Bachelors preferred.
- Current IL State RN licensure and CPR Certification
- Team and customer service skills
- Computer skills - windows and database systems
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, EKG monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, airway and ventilator management as required per department.
