Position Overview:
St. Bernadette Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to join our middle school team. Qualifications / Requirements:
- Hold an appropriate Ohio teaching license (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach.
- Experience teaching middle school students is preferred.
- Candidate must complete an online teaching application with the Diocese of Columbus.
- Satisfactory BCI and FBI background checks.
- Completion of or willingness to attend VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training.
- Catholic Preferred but Not Required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Provide support for special education needs and adapt lessons for diverse learners.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.
Position Details:
- Full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
