What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRT or RRT position at St. Bernards Healthcare?
Full Time, 7pm - 7am, M-F 7p-7a, some weekends and holidays required
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- A.S Graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable. Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.
- Experience
- Previous experience desirable but not necessary. Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.
- Physical
- Normal hospital environment. Normal/ corrected eyesight. Full range of hearing. Operates computer, IPPB, CPAP, BIPAP and other various respiratory equipment. Lifts and carries up to 30lbs. Pushes and pulls up to 70lbs. Frequent sitting, standing and walking.

- Prepares treatment medications, administers prescribed treatments and performs various departmental procedures and duties all under general supervision.
