Emergency Department Care Assistant - #7156

Summary

In accordance with established standards, assists with clinical and patient care activities in the Emergency Department under the direction of a licensed nurse. 

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Must possess at least one of the following:
   1. Completion of a health related educational program focused on the delivery of direct patient care.
   2. Three months of experience in a clinical setting delivering direct patient care.
   3. Six months of experience providing in-person customer service.
3. Ability to lift and transport patients of various weights and ages.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior work experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
2. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
