| Job Responsibilities | Assist the Head Volleyball Coach in the planning, organization and administration of the men's volleyball program. * Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules * Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing with student-athletes * Maintain positive constructive working relationships with student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the University community * At all times promote the Men's Volleyball program in a positive way * Recruiting (20%) o Teamworks software usage to submit and update recruit information o Corresponding via mailings, phone calls, text messaging and emails o Scheduling and setting up recruit visits o Attending off campus recruiting events o Working with admissions office to recruit student athletes * Men's Volleyball Coaching & Education (55%) o Practice planning and coaching o Individual & small group coaching sessions o Oversee academic, moral, ethical and athletic development of the student-athletes - personal & team meetings o Match preparation team meetings o Game day meetings, coaching, post-game debrief o Team film sessions & meetings o Participation in community service events * Men's Volleyball Team Administration (25%) o Supervise team during away contests o Participate in fund-raising activities * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head or Associate Head Coach |
| Education / Experience | Bachelor's degree preferred. Volleyball knowledge required and intercollegiate playing experience desired. |
