What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Assistant position at St. John II Preschool and Child Care?
- Applicant must be 18 years or older
- Assist in preparing crafts and activities
- Maintain St. John Paul II standard of care
- Daily cleaning of the classroom space
- Provide quality communication to parents/guardians at all times
- Complete basic paperwork
- Report any concerns to the Director
- Attend a monthly after hours staff meeting
- Maintain a positive attendance record
- Accompany children on summer field trips
- Help supervise summer trips to the swimming pool
- Able to work in hot/cold outside temperatures
- Have a positive attitude
- Have a true compassion for students K-8 grades
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
