What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater/Teacher Assistant position at St. John's Child Development Center?
St. John's Child Development Center of Salisbury, NC is seeking a Floater/Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time or part-time position, with the possibility of working as much as 5 days per week.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A team player
- Willing to work as assign
- Able to work independently
- Able to work with children ages 6 weeks-12 years old
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the implementation of curriculum in a professional and educational manner.
- Assisting in providing support for students with developmental disabilities.
- Supporting teachers in their duties with students.
- Assisting with the implementation of curriculum in classroom.
- Supervising students when they are assisting with activities or performing duties outside of the classroom.
- Supervising students who are participating in our school program.
- Assisting with the implementation of curriculum in daycare setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
