Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Actively participates as a team member in the systems functions and activities of the unit / department.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
- Current CNA Certification (CT NA)
- High School education or equivalent
- Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Preferred Requirements :
Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA
Special Skills :
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely and accurately.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to operate common office equipment including computers.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.
Pay Range
$20.22 - $25.97 / hour
Salary : $20 - $26
