What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant position at St.Joseph Center?
Currently seeking a part time Resident Assistant. Shift available is evening(3pm-11pm) shifts. This is a direct hire, no agency. This job requires every other weekend and 2 days during the weekday.
Very low patient to worker ratio. This is a community of elderly males.
Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
We welcome no experience candidates as we do have hands on training, if hired.
The Resident Assistant is responsible for assisting the Brothers with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring and ambulation, as well as instrumental activities of daily living which include housekeeping and laundry services in accordance with each Brother's needs.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move 25 or more pounds without risk of injury to self or others.
- Must be age of 18 or older
- Must be authorized to work in US
- Experience in the care of elderly is preferred, but not required
- Must adhere to all policies and procedures at A.B. Care, Inc
- Requires the ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
- Requires the ability to remain calm and demonstrate emotional stability at all times.
