Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Intern assists the Pharmacist in:
- the support of the drug distribution systems, including patient counseling and pharmacokinetic calculations
- participates in performance improvement and data collections activities.
- dosage preparation, preparation of sterile admixture using aseptic technique, floor stock delivery, pre-packaging, billing, receiving, and stocking
- All responsibilities are performed under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist according to local board of pharmacy and state regulations.
- providing pharmaceutical care for the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- This is a PRN position with flexibility

- Current enrollment as a Pharmacy Student.
