The Basics Of This Position

  • Spring semester 2025 only****.The candidate will be responsible for teaching anatomy and physiology courses to a diverse group of students utilizing a range of teaching modalities (online, face-to-face, hybrid). The position will be on the Forest Park campus. The candidate must be available MWF mornings.

What You'll Do

  • Full Time faculty duties and responsibilities normally include: Formal course contact teaching of 15 credit hours of chemistry lecture and lab courses; face to face, hybrid, and dual enrollment courses, Preparation and planning for instructing assigned classes in accordance with course objectives. Preparing and correcting examinations and other student work assignments. Scheduling student conferences to review individual student progress. Attendance at faculty meetings and institutional ceremonies or meetings. The College reserves the right to assign other normal professional responsibilities as may be appropriate.

Education, Experience, And Other Requirements

A Master’s degree in Biology or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.

Preferred Qualifications

Secondary education or community college teaching experience with graduate courses in education and biology. Experience with different modalities of biology education. Experience teaching Non-STEM biology and Anatomy and Physiology.
