Purchases pharmaceuticals and products for St. Luke’s, including the hospital pharmacy, outpatient departments and clinics, while controlling inventory in the Pharmacy Department.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience : 4160 hours of pharmacy technician experience
- Licensure / Certification / Registration : Minnesota Technician registration prior to start date. Must be nationally certified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) upon hire into position.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience : Previous pharmacy buyer experience in a hospital setting that includes purchasing medications under the 340B Drug Discount Program.

- WRITING - Intermediate : Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.

- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Advanced : Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.
