Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm onsite.
What You Can Expect:
The HIM Technician is responsible for managing electronic medical records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely documentation.
- Verify, import, prep, scan, and maintain patient health information in the electronic medical record.
- Validate completeness of medical record content and notify providers of any deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies through record reviews.
- Assign documentation deficiencies to appropriate providers and track completion status.
- Monitor work queues for indexing and maintaining accurate electronic health records.
- Process requests and release medical records for continuity of care, adhering to privacy standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year experience.
