Head Womens Field Hockey Coach
St. Margaret's School looking to hire a Female Field Hockey coach and Female Assistant Athletic Director. St. Margaret's School is a private Boarding school in Virginia. Housing is available Administrative Duties: - Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of coaching staff. - Help manage athletic department budgets and resources. - Coordinate with other school departments to ensure athletic facilities and equipment are properly maintained and available for use. Student Engagement: - Serve as a dorm parent - Promote student involvement in athletics and physical fitness. - Monitor academic progress of student-athletes and provide support to ensure their success both on and off the field. - Organize and participate in athletic department meetings, parent meetings, and other school events as needed Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience: - Proven experience in coaching field hockey and lacrosse at the high school or collegiate level. - Previous experience in athletic administration or a related role is preferred. Skills: - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff. - Proficient in using technology and software related to athletic administration. Certifications: - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Schedule: - Full-time position, with a variable schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and travel for games and events.
