If you're an experienced accounting professional looking for a meaningful career opportunity, we want to talk to you! St. Francis Xavier and St. Mary Catholic parishes in De Pere, Wisconsin are seeking a friendly and organized parish accountant to coordinate and manage the accounting aspects of the parishes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, weekly offertory and oversight of outsourced payroll. We are two churches with one staff looking for someone prepared to work with a team to support the parish mission.

This position is responsible for the execution of the bookkeeping and accounting functions of St. Francis Xavier and St. Mary and will provide management of the following operations: financial management, contract administration, facilities and property oversight, support and coordination of resources for mission and ministry, and security and risk management.

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits and a possibility for a Monday-Thursday work week. Some evenings are required. This position reports to the pastor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, management or related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and business management
• Demonstrably excellent oral and written communication skills
• MUST have a strong knowledge in finance and working with a significant non-profit budget
