What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist position at ST MARYS HOME FOR DISABLED?
This multi-faceted technical position provides technical assistance to computer users in The Home, answering questions and resolving computer problems in person, via telephone or from remote location. Provides assistance concerning the installation and use of computer hardware and software, including printers, applications, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Qualified candidate must:
- be able to sit, stand and walk for variable lengths of time, as well as occasionally work in close and/or awkward spaces in the course of trouble shooting and maintaining computer equipment
- be able to lift up to 35 pounds independently
Education:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Some post high school formal education preferred
- Two years of Information Technology hands on experience required.
Special Skills Required:
- must be able to use and train others on the following:
- MS Office 365 applications
- Powerpoint Teams
- Local area networks
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Linux
- Network Security
- VMware
- MS SQL Server
