What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audiologist - HIMG (Full Time) - 7331 position at St Marys Medical Center?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated audiologist to join our team in Huntington, WV. The audiologist will be an integral part of our otolaryngology practice as well as a large multispecialty group.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations including pure-tone and speech audiometry, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory brainstem response testing
Conduct videonystagmography (VNG) testing for patients with dizziness and balance disorders
Dispense and fit hearing aids, including counseling on the use and care of hearing aids
Perform hearing aid follow-up and adjustment appointments
Participate in community outreach activities, including hearing screenings and educational seminars
Work collaboratively with our team of physicians, audiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in audiology
Provide services to satellite clinics in the surround area

Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia and Kentucky
Experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting, and balance therapy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
