Job Description:

As a member of the Healthcare team, this person will act as our Pharmacy Specialist and will work with other talented engineers, Project Managers, Directors, and client teams in the design of pharmacies in a hospital/medical center setting. You will use proven and practical data-driven Industrial Engineering techniques to support and validate the creative and ground-breaking principles of cutting-edge hospital design.


The pharmacist specialist will support the pharmacy assessment, planning and strategy projects with pharmacy expertise.


Preferred experience:

  • PharmD/RPh with an operational mindset and a passion for process improvement.
  • Code compliance.
  • Organizational strategy development


Responsibilities:

  • Our work is project based and involves healthcare facility design, process improvement, and inventory replenishment system assessment, selection and implementation.
  • Pharmacy planning using Industrial Engineering techniques for layout and design work. Techniques to include space utilization, work flow, departmentalization, and others.
  • The Pharmacy Specialist will lead project execution teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that exceeds client expectations.
  • The Pharmacy Specialist will play an active role in identifying follow on work and may support sales visits.
  • Pharmacy Process Improvement.


Other:

  • Remote candidates will be considered.
  • Travel is required and will vary depending on the project.
  • Must have process improvement experience.
  • Must have an understanding of FDA and state board of pharmacy policies that could affect what type of pharmacy operations need to take place where.
  • We will consider full-time permanent hires or 1099 consultants.
