BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for keeping assigned facility, externally and internally, clean, neat, and in quality condition at all times while on duty. Floor care is of key importance.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or its equivalent. One year of floor care experience ideally in a commercial setting. One year of general experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to regularly lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Able to maneuver tools, equipment, carts through halls, up and down ramps, and in and out of elevators safely. Able to bend, squat, and stoop to floor level. Able to reach heights up to 10 feet with appropriate aid of ladder and reach overhead. Spend 60% of day walking, 28% standing, and 12% sitting. Must be able to climb stairs.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Will have constant exposure to chemical and paint products. May have constant exposure to inclement weather. May have occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, etc. May have occasional exposure to limited workspace or heights. Occasionally may be required to use a ladder up to 20 feet tall.
