What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School Mathematics Teacher position at St. Stephen's Episcopal School?
St. Stephen's Episcopal School, a day and boarding school of 690 students (grades 6-12), is seeking an Upper School Mathematics Teacher for a full-time position beginning August 1, 2022.
Candidates must have a degree in mathematics or a closely related field, as well as experience teaching math in grades 9-12. The Mathematics Department is looking for candidates who utilize a variety of teaching methods, are technologically proficient, and who love working closely with energetic students and a dedicated faculty.
Duties include:
- Teaching 4 sections of Upper School Mathematics;
- Serving as an advisor to a group of Upper School students;
- Contribute to two other areas of school life, including athletic or extracurricular programs,
- Attend Chapel, proctor study halls and participate in a family-style lunch program.
