What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Assistant position at St. Thomas More Cathedral School?
St. Thomas More Cathedral School is seeking an Instructional Assistant to aid the 3rd grade teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an hourly, full-time position, 7:30am-3:30pm. The Instructional Assistant will support and assist the lead teachers in classroom preparation, execution of daily lessons, and classroom management. Duties include working with students in small groups, supervising students, and monitoring daily outside recess breaks. Ideal candidates will be practicing Catholics with a devotion for education and working with children. St. Thomas More Cathedral School is a U. S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School and a Virginia Distinguished Purple Star School.
