St. Thomas More After-Care Program Manager 2022 - 2023 Reports to: STM Principal Status: Part-Time (M-F, 2:45 – 6:00 pm)
Position Description: St. Thomas More School is seeking an After School Program Manager to organize and facilitate appropriate activities for students from preschool through 5th grade. We are looking for an energetic, fun person who loves to work with kids! It is a program where kids can play outside, have a snack, do homework, and go to different learning & play stations. The manager is responsible for working with and supervising the students and additional staff members when they arrive after school at 3:20 until parents pick them up.

JOB DESCRIPTION: • The successful candidate will be adept at maintaining an orderly physical environment that is conducive to optimal growth and development of students. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents, and staff members. • Maintain accurate student attendance. • Maintains a high level of time-on-task for all students • Monitors student behavior continuously, encouraging appropriate behavior and addressing any inappropriate behavior • Promptly reports to the Principal all incidents on site including behavioral, late pick up, program absence, facility issues and other significant events including After Care staff issues. • Responsible for managing inventory of snacks and supplies (for activities, cleaning supplies, utensils, etc.) • Responsible for maintaining site cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance • • Responsible for timely reporting of all maintenance and janitorial needs • And other duties as needed

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds REQUIREMENTS: • College degree preferred but not mandatory • Experience working with children
