Day (United States of America) Marketing Assistant The Marketing Assistant supports the Halifax Health Marketing Department by coordinating a variety of tasks in collaboration with the marketing team. Responsibilities include assisting with the setup and breakdown of events, managing promotional item inventory and distribution, and completing business-related errands both on campus and at external locations. This role also provides support with photography and social media content development and execution. The Marketing Assistant works closely with Account Specialists to assist with Halifax Health service line marketing initiatives as needed. Additional responsibilities include submitting departmental invoices to Accounts Payable and routing contracts through the appropriate approval process. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: Assist the marketing department with events Assist with signage requests, production and installations Manage distribution of collateral materials, to include keeping onsite location stocked and satellite locations supplied Placement and removal of event related signage Assist and/or manage the organization and set up/breakdown of events (to include some weekends) Submit invoices to accounts payable and keep track of the payment process Order office supplies for the department Submit and manage contracts throughout the legal process Retrieve/deliver to/from mail room Assist with daily staff needs, errands and special projects/assignments as needed Work with the digital marketing coordinator to assist with social media scheduling. Although some tasks will be assigned, the Marketing Assistant will be expected to utilize his/ her skills and exert self-initiative to effectively and professionally communicate with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with health system staff, affiliated physicians, and business, industry, community and other professional groups.
