In this position, you’ll leverage your expertise to prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various clients, including LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts/estates, tax-exempt entities, individual taxpayers, and multi-state businesses. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to provide insightful tax planning and advice, helping clients make informed financial decisions.
This is an on-site, in-person in Western New York.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file federal and state tax returns for diverse entities.
- Advise clients on tax planning to support their financial goals.
- Review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Stay current with federal and state tax laws, sharing insights with clients as needed.
- Build and maintain client relationships, addressing tax-related questions and proactively solving issues.
- Manage multiple tax projects, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA licensure.
- 3 years of tax preparation and planning experience, with proven success.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex tax information.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
