Calibration Technician

Salary: $26/hr

Location: Tucson, AZ

Industry: Defense/Industrial

Schedule: 1st Shift, 6AM to 2:30PM

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Engineering desired.
• 2 years of relevant calibration experience required
• Must have familiarity with hand tools and their usage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Must have attention to detail and be quality oriented.
• Must have strong math skills (proficiency in high school level algebra)
• Experience with Indysoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal a plus
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Steel toed shoes are required
• Must be a US Citizen
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Calibrates and certifies Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial or military specifications/calibration procedures.
• Calibrates and troubleshoots fault isolation, adjustment and repairs using Test Measure Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) certified laboratory standards.
• Calibrate linear dimensional hand tools and other related equipment.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
