What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Hardware Technician (Mechanical Assembly) position at Staffing Support Specialists?
Job Description:
- Assemble, troubleshoot and repair steel poles up to 1" x 12'
- Thread and tap one or both ends
- Weld handles, bend poles at proper position and angle
- Cut 4 core, 16 gauge wire to length,
- Stip and crimp wires to a connector or contact block, and run cable through pole
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year manufacturing, machine shop or tools/fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read schematics
- Good manual dexterity
- Good measuring skills
- Ability to use hand/power tools
- Basic MIG welding experience
