SUMMARY: Assemble, pack, and install all Rogers Group products at the customer location or on the Plant floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.
- Simple and complex assembly of parts according to the work order, prints, and knowledge of the unit being assembled.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Operates hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
- Records all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
- Maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free, and healthy work environment.
- Assures that the proper fit, function, and appearance are at, or exceed quality standards.
- Confers with Manager, Team and Crew Leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory.
- Requirement: available to travel to installation locations throughout the US at any time necessary to meet customer demands.
- Must complete certification criteria for TSI, Rogers Athletic and StageRight installation.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School Education or equivalent certification.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, decimal equivalents, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of issues which occurs in the daily assembly process.
- Ability to problem solve, think analytically and work under pressure.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form.
- Agility of the upper and lower body extremities, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Prefer three (3) years of assembly/installation experience on Rogers Group product line.
