Position Overview:
As our Sales and Account Development Manager, you will lead efforts to expand our client base, strengthen brand recognition, and forge long-term partnerships across the real estate, event, and hospitality industries. You'll identify new market opportunities, represent our brand at industry events, and collaborate with the creative and operations teams to deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
This is a high-impact role for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and driving revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage the existing portfolio of commercial and event rental clients, including several key accounts;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with real estate professionals, developers, event planners, hospitality professionals, and venues across the Mid-Atlantic region;
- Field and service all commercial and event rental inquiries; understand client event needs, create custom furniture rental packages, and propose design solutions that align with their event theme, layout, and goals;
- Secure rental bookings and ensure all necessary details—including inventory, delivery schedules, event logistics, and billing—are accurately collected and processed for flawless execution;
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, outreach, cold calling, and attending industry events to raise brand visibility and build contacts;
- Conduct client presentations to pitch offerings and propose tailored staging or event solutions;
- Collaborate with the leadership to align client goals with our services and ensure consistent brand representation;
- Track market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and expand into new service areas or customer segments;
- Negotiate and close deals, prepare proposals and contracts, and ensure a seamless handoff to project and operations teams;
- Maintain a CRM system to monitor outreach, follow-ups, and client engagement;
- Assist with marketing efforts and campaigns by reviewing and approving editorial content for social media and email marketing, generate and sharing content, and collaborating with leadership and the company’s marketing partner to craft effective messaging and strategic campaigns across all channels that align with the company’s growth strategy
Qualifications:
- 3 years in business development, sales, or client relationship management in a related industry (e.g., real estate, interior design, event production, hospitality, or creative services).
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to high-level clients and decision-makers.
- Passion for design, aesthetics, and creating visually compelling experiences.
- Well-organized, self-driven, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Google Workplace; familiarity with design or project management tools is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regionally as needed (some evenings/weekends for events or meetings).

Other Details:
Annual Salary: $80,000-$110,000 all in (based on experience); base plus commission
