What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving clerk position at Stainless Piping Specialists?
Stainless Piping Specialists (SPS) is seeking a motivated individual to fill our Receiving Clerk position. This position has various functions associated with the position.
Daily Functions : (Not limited to : )
- Receive Incoming Material per Procedure Receiving.
- Unload Trucks and move all stock and job raw materials to designated areas.
- Move incoming materials to designated job carts. If the material requires fab operations, move the required material to that appropriate station.
- Perform inventory cycle counts weekly per Procedure - Pipe Inventory Counts.
- Keep dock areas clean.
- Assure all returned job carts are cleaned off and sent back to AMG or stored in the designated area.
- Break up skids / packaging materials and put them into dumpsters.
Qualifications :
- Basic computer knowledge of ERP office systems (Preferred).
- Experience in a manufacturing receiving position (Preferred, Not required)
- Good physical dexterity and multitasking skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Be self-motivated and take pride in your work.
